NORTHVILLE – A pair of big inning propelled Sisseton-Britton-Webster to a high school baseball sweep over Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern on Sunday afternoon.

SBW scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning in a 5-2 extra-inning win in the opener. Levi Nelson drove in one run on a single, while the other three runs scored on two bases-loaded walks and a bases-loaded hit batter.

Ben Suther struck out 12 batters in the victory.

Chays Mansfield finished with three hits to lead W-I-N.

SBW scored all three of its runs in the third inning of a 3-2 second-game victory. Nelson keyed the win with a two-run single. Carter Stickland added a sacrifice fly.

W-I-N scored pair of runs in the top of the seventh on a wild pitch and an Alec Mikkelson single, but left the tying run on base.
