REDFIELD – Down to their last out, Redfield scored four straight runs without a hit to grab a 4-3 walk-off win over Platte-Geddes-Dakota Christian-White Lake in high school baseball action Saturday afternoon.
Trailing by three runs heading to the bottom of the seventh, three PGDCWL errors loaded the bases with one out. Following a strike out, Noah Johnson walked to drive in one run, Chace Odland overcame a 1-2 count to earn another run-producing walk.
The Muskrats then tied the score when Tate Neuharth came home on a wild pitch, before Johnson scored the game-winning run on another wild pitch.
Aiden Frankenstein had the lone hit for Redfield in the contest.
Jacksan Rude went the distance for the Muskrats, allowing three hits, one that accounted for all of PGDCWL’s runs, a bases-loaded triple by Kenyon Kuiper in the fifth inning.
Rude walked three and struck out four in the contest.

REDFIELD – Platte-Geddes-Dakota Christian-White Lake exploded for 13 runs over the first two innings of a 14-1 win over the Groton Tigers.
The Honkers had six singles in the top of an eight-run first inning, including two-run singles from Bentley Veurink and Jye Bailey.
Groton scratched across its lone run in the bottom of the first on three walks and a bases-loaded hit batter.
Bailey, who finished with four hits, added an RBI single in a five-run second for PGDCWL.
TC Schuster had the lone hit for the Tigers.
