Fast start fuels Circus win over Northville

MELLETTE – Aberdeen Circus scored 10 runs in the first three innings on the way to a 14-1 win over the Northville Merchants in Amateur baseball action Tuesday night.

Corey Harrell had an RBI single and Easton Millar a sacrifice fly in the top of the first. Michael Babcock had a two-run double and Harrell belted a grand slam home run in a six-run second inning, and Ryan Soler had an RBI double, and Kris Kwak drove in a run with a single in the third.

Circus tacked on four more runs in the seventh as Kelly Coates had a solo home run, Babcock and Kwak had run-producing hits, and Harrell capped the scoring with a sac fly.

Kwak, Harrell, and Jesse Babcock each had three hits for Circus. Michael Babcock, Coates, and Soler each contributed two.
