Milbank Firechiefs sweep Castlewood Ravens in Amateur twinbill

CASTLEWOOD – The Milbank Firechiefs scored 30 combined runs on just 13 hits in a doubleheader sweep over the Castlewood Ravens on Thursday night. Milbank won the opener 17-3 and took the nightcap 13-3.

The Firechiefs took advantage of 23 walks, six hit batters, and eight errors in the two contests.

Kaleb Lindstrom and Jaxon Wiese each had two-run hits in the first game.

Mack Koplin had three hits, including two doubles, drove in three runs, and struck out eight batters in the second contest. He also knocked in a pair in the first game.

Jax Tharaldsen drove in two runs for Castlewood in the second game.
