Aberdeen Circus, Laken Norden win Amateur games

GROTON – Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar scored multiple runs in five innings on the way a 14-7 Amateur baseball victory over Groton Locke Electric on Wednesday night.

Circus scored three runs in the fifth, sixth, and eighth, and a pair of runs in the fourth and seventh.

Kris Kwak had a pair of hits for Aberdeen, including an RBI triple in the sixth, and a bases-loaded single in the eighth.

Joran Foss and Talan Dutenhoeffer also had two hits for Circus.

Brevin Fliehs had a pair of hits, including a triple, for Locke Electric.

Lake Norden Lakers 6, Milbank Firechiefs 5

LAKE NORDEN – Lake Norden rallied for five runs on just one hit in the bottom of the eighth inning to grab a 6-5 win over the Milbank Firechiefs.

Trailing 5-1 in the bottom of the eighth, the Lakers surged ahead, eventually scoring the winning run on a wild pitch.

Brady Krause struck out 12 batters through seven innings for Milbank. He also had a two-run single.
