Clark-Willow Lake, Redfield claim Legion victories

CHAMBERLAIN – Clark-Willow Lake scored 16 unanswered runs to break a tie game and record a 25-9 win over Chamberlain in American Legion baseball action Wednesday night.

CWL scored five runs in the fourth frame, two on a Max Bratland double, and then exploded for 11 runs in the fifth inning. Caleb Drenth had two RBI singles in that inning.

Watson Grantham finished with four hits and plated three runs, Drenth contributed three hits and knocked in three, and Jakob Steen had a pair of hits and a team-lead four runs batted in.

Redfield 15, Lake Norden-Badger 2

LAKE NORDEN – Tate Neuharth and Logan LaBrie each drove in three runs to help lift Redfield to a 15-2 win over Lake Norden-Badger.

Redfield, which scored four times in the second inning and eight times in the fifth, took advantage of 15 walks in the contest.

Neuharth had a two-run single in the fifth, and LaBrie delivered a two-run single in the sixth.
