Redfield walks off W-I-N; Clark rolls past Deuel

REDFIELD – Redfield built a four-run lead, lost it and then grabbed a 5-4 walk-off victory over Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern in high school baseball action Wednesday night.

Aiden Frankenstein led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk, Chace Odland followed with a double, and Grady Hulscher ended the game with a single to drive in the winning run.

Redfield scored three runs in the second inning on a bases-loaded double by Jacksan Rude.

W-I-N rallied with two runs in the fifth and two more in the seventh to tie the game. Braydon Kroll drove in a run in the seventh.

Lincoln Kroll had three hits to top W-I-N. Odland struck out eight batters for Redfield.

Clark 11, Deuel 1

CLARK – Clark broke open a tight game with eight runs in the bottom of the fifth inning on the way to an 11-1 win over Deuel.

Ky Vandersnick had a two-run double in the fifth, while Charlie Luvaas and Watson Grantham each drove in one run.

Cooper Pommer finished with three hits for Clark, including an inside the park home run. Grantham added two hits.

Gabe Van Dyke and Ryker Gauger each had two hits for Deuel.
