BLAINE, Minn. – Jonathan Doucette scored with 18 seconds remaining to lift the Aberdeen Wings to a 4-3 win over the New Jersey Titans during the NAHL Showcase on Friday afternoon.

Doucette took a feed from Broden Hontvet and produced the game winner as the Wings improved to 3-1 on the young season.

Aberdeen trailed early before scoring three straight goals in the second period. Cooper Siegert got the Wings on the board at the 12:12 mark with assists from Aidan Pasic and Price Grimes. Siegert scored another goal about five minutes later on an assist from Caeden Heims, who then provided another goal with four minutes left in the period.

The Titans eventually tied the score in the third before, setting the stage for the dramatic goal by Doucette.

The Wings outshot New Jersey 32-22 with Willum Braun collecting 19 saves in goal for Aberdeen.

The Wings conclude their action in the Showcase with a contest against the Kenai River Brown Bears this afternoon.
