Fifth inning propels Redfield to win over Groton

REDFIELD – Redfield scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to break a tie game and grab a 7-2 win over Groton in American Legion baseball on Saturday.

Logan LaBrie started the uprising with a triple and scored on Micah Zastrow’s double in the next at-bat. Jett Kleinsasser added a two-run home run, and Jacksan Rude capped the scoring with another two-run home run.

Isaiah Scepaniak had a two-run single for Groton.
