Fifth inning fuels Redfield amateur win over Northville

REDFIELD – Redfield Dairy Queen erupted for seven runs in the fifth inning of an 11-1 Amateur baseball victory over the Northville Merchants on Tuesday night.

DQ broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth. Cooper Hainy and Owen Osborn each had RBI singles, before Jett Kleinsasser connected for a two-run double, and Nate Hainy belted a two-run home run.

Kleinasser drove in a run in the sixth, and Cooper Hainy ended the game with a two-run single in the seventh.

Camden Osborn and Cooper Hainy each had three hits for DQ, while Peyton Osborn, Owen Osborn, and Kleinsasser contributed two apiece.
