Milbank, Sisseton split Legion twinbill

MILBANK – Milbank and Sisseton exchanged big innings in a split of an American Legion baseball doubleheader on Tuesday.

Milbank had a three-run inning and five-run frame in a 10-2 win, while Sisseton scored three runs in one inning of a 5-3 victory.

Milbank’s Bennett Hunt had a two-run double in a three-run first inning, while Mack Koplin had a bases-loaded triple in a five-run fifth.

Sisseton scored three times in the first fame of its victory.

Kellen Rempp and Max Dahlen each had two hits for Sisseton, which scored four of its first runs on a passed ball, a wild pitch and two errors.
