MADISON – The Redfield Muskrats lost two games in much different fashion to open their high school baseball season on Sunday.

Redfield managed just four hits in a 10-0 setback to Madison. Hudson Binger had two hits for the Muskrats.

Redfield then fell behind 9-3 against Tri-Valley before battling back to take the lead with seven runs in the bottom of the third inning.

Jacksan Rude had a two-run double in the frame, and Chace Odland, Grady Hulscher, and Noah Johnson each produced RBI singles for the Muskrats.

However, Tri-Valley plated two runs in the top of the sixth inning to move ahead and held on for the victory.

Johnson and Micah Zastrow each had two hits for Redfield. Rude knocked in three runs, while Zastrow drove in a pair.
