Circus avenges setback to Redfield DQ

REDFIELD – Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar avenged a loss last week in handing Redfield Dairy Queen its first setback of the season 10-7 in Amateur baseball action Tuesday night.

Michael Babcock broke open a tight game with a bases-loaded double in a four-run seventh inning to help fuel the victory. Babcock finished with a pair of hits and knocked in four on the night.

Casey Vining had three hits to lead Circus. WolfDon Thorson also had two hits for Aberdeen, which finished with 10 hits and also took advantage of 13 walks in the contest.

A trio of Circus pitchers combined to scatter four hits over nine innings and allowed just two earned runs.

Cooper Hainy had a pair of singles to lead DQ. Peyton Osborn and Noah Hainy each drove in two runs.
