MILBANK – Milbank, Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern, Redfield and Sisseton all picked up wins during the Heritage Legion baseball tournament on Saturday.

Joe Schulte scattered five hits as Milbank defeated Volga 9-2.

Mack Koplin and Aiden Kelly hit back-to-back doubles for Milbank in a four-run second inning.

Alec Mikkelsen had three hits in the victory, and Drew Bakeberg added two hits, including a two-run double in the third inning.

Redfield exploded for 14 runs over the first three innings in a 14-2 decision over Lake Norden-Badger.

Kevin Weller had two hits, including a triple and a two-run single, while Eli Morrissette hit a three-run home run for Redfield.

Bradley Hansen tossed a four-inning no-hitter in Sisseton’s 10-0 win over Castlewood.

Hughin Current had a two-run double in the fourth inning for Sisseton, while Rylan Anderson and LJ Crooks added RBI singles in the contest.
