MITCHELL – Aberdeen Roncalli’s Lucas Daggett finished runner-up to help lead the Cavaliers to a second place finish as a team during the Parkston Invitational in Mitchell on Friday.
Daggett shot a round of 76, four strokes back of medalist Ben Akin of Elk Point-Jefferson.
Roncalli finished with a team total of 313, the same as champion Dakota Valley.
Harper Schnabel ended up fifth with a 77. Other Cavaliers included Matthew Gerlach who was 14th with a 79, Finn Anderson who was 23rd with an 81, Owen Vogel who was 67th with a 90, and Matthew Darling who was 70th with a 91.
Roncalli heads to the Redfield Invitational on Tuesday.
