NORTHVILLE – Redfield Dairy Queen overcame a 4-1 deficit and held off a late rally to grab an 8-7 win over Groton Locke Electric in Region 2B Amateur baseball action Tuesday night.

Redfield scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to take an 8-5 lead. Bennett Osborn led off the inning with a home run, Owen Osborn drove in the second run with a single, Jett Kleinsasser produced a sacrifice fly, and the final run came in on a wild pitch.

Groton rallied in the top of the ninth when Ty Sieber delivered a two-out two-run single to close the deficit to a single run. However, Groton stranded two runners on base when contest ended on a lineout to centerfield.

Camden Osborn finished with four hits to lead DQ. Bennett Osborn and Jett Kleinsasser each added two.

Sieber led Groton with three hits and also drove in three runs.
