WATERTOWN — Dell Rapids PBR has taken over the top spot in Class B in the latest South Dakota amateur baseball poll.

PBR took over the top spot from the Dell Rapids Mudcats, who led the season-opening poll. The Renner Monarchs continue to hold down the No. 1 ranking in Class A.

Redfield Dairy Queen moved into the eighth position in Class B. Castlewood is rated fifth and the Milbank Firechiefs are receiving votes.

Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar is receiving votes in the Class A poll.

Class A: 1. Renner Monarchs; 2. Harrisburg Woodies; 3. Brookings Cubs; 4. Yankton Lakers; 5. Sioux Falls Brewers. Receiving votes: Aberdeen Circus and Tea Steam.

Class B: 1. Dell Rapids PBR; 2. Dell Rapids Mudcats; 3. Canova Gang; 4. Alexandria Angels; 5. Castlewood Ravens; 6. Parkston Mudcats; 7. Platte Killer Tomatoes; 8. Redfield Dairy Queen; 9. (Tie) Humboldt-Hartford Gamecocks and Parkston Rays. Receiving votes: Kimball-White Lake Nationals, Elk Point Colt .45s, Milbank Firechiefs, Winner-Colome Pheasants, Menno Mad Frogs and Volga Cormorants.
