Circus rallies for amateur win over Parkston Rays

Aberdeen Circus rallied from a pair of deficits and scored six two-out runs in a 7-5 win over the Parkston Rays in amateur baseball action Sunday at Fossum Field.

Circus trailed 3-0 and 5-4 during the contest before overcoming both of those deficits.

Rafael Clemente had a two-out two-run single in the third, after two outs Jaiden Smith drove in a run with a triple and Michael Babcock had an RBI single in the fourth, and the hosts produced three runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead for good, two coming after a pair of outs. Clemente drove in the game-winning run on a single.

Clemente finished with three hits and knocked in three runs. Babcock contributed two hits and drove in a pair.
