All of the area girls’ basketball teams remained in their same positions as a week ago in this week’s Prep Media basketball polls.

Aberdeen Central continues to be fourth in Class AA, Hamlin is third, Aberdeen Roncalli is ninth, and Mobridge-Pollock is 10th in Class A. Clark-Willow Lake is receiving votes in Class A.

Highmore-Harrold is receiving votes in Class B and for the first time this season Waubay-Summit received a vote.

There is a new top-rated team in Class B as last week’s top squad Centerville suffered its first setback of the season.

Lyman takes over the top spot this week, with Parkston rated second.

Brandon Valley continues to lead Class AA, while Mahpiya Luta remains number one in Class A.
