Area girls gain 281-Conference all-conference first-team honors

Sophomore Jada Baloun of Highmore-Harrold and junior Shae Uttecht of Wolsey-Wessington landed on the first team of the 281 Conference girls’ basketball all-conference team.

Other first team selections are senior Liz Boschee and junior Addison Bartholow of Sanborn Central-Woonsocket; and senior Hadlee Holt of Iroquois-Lake Preston.

Second team picks are senior Autumn Fallis of Highmore-Harrold; junior Emmerie Arthurs and senior Gracyn Bixler of Hitchcock-Tulare; freshman Kenzie Kolousek of Wessington Springs; and Kendal Uttecht of Wolsey-Wessington.

Those selected for honorable mention are junior Kendall Kolousek of Wessington Springs; senior Cambree Hoekman of Hitchcock-Tulare; sophomore Laney Goertz of Sanborn Central-Woonsocket; and senior Addison McDonnell and sophomore Elle Stagg of Highmore-Harrold.
