NORTHVILLE – Alec Mikkelson delivered a two-out run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh inning as Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern walked off Redfield 1-0 in American Legion baseball Tuesday night.

The two teams cbmbined for just five total hits in the contest.

Redfield advanced runners as far as third base in both the third and sixth innings, but was unable to score.

The game remained scoreless until Mikkelson drove in Quintin Fischbach with the winning run.

Elijah Morrissette struck out eight batters for Redfield, while Gavin Lane had six strikeouts and Fischbach five for W-I-N.
