REDFIELD – Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern scored nine runs in the final two innings to surge past Redfield 12-8 in high school baseball action Tuesday night.
The Muskrats led 4-1 following the first three innings, and 5-3 heading into the sixth before W-I-N plated six runs in the sixth inning and three more in the seventh. Redfield responded with three runs in its final at-bat, but left the bases loaded to end the game.
Redfield’s first three runs came in via errors. Chays Mansfield ignited the W-I-N offense with a two-out two-run double in the fourth inning.
Alec Mikkelson drove in a pair of runs with a double in the sixth for the visitors and also added an RBI hit in the seventh.
Micah Zastrow had a two-run double, and Noah Johnson drove in a run in the seventh for the Muskrats.
Mikkelson, Devon Fischbach and Levi Little each had two hits for W-I-N. Little drove in four and Mikkelson three. Logan Fischbach struck out eight in three and two-thirds innings of work.

Elijah Morrissette had three hits to pace Redfield, while Johnson had a pair. Zastrow finished with 2 RBI. Erik Salmen fanned six batters in five innings on the mound.
