Pairings have been finalized for the opening round of the Class A American Legion baseball playoffs.
There are seven best two-of-three series that will determined who will join host Yankton for next week’s State A tournament.
The Aberdeen Smittys will travel to Watertown for games on Thursday and Friday. Thursday’s contest will be at 7 p.m. and Friday’s first contest is set for 2 p.m. If a third game is necessary, that will take place at 4 p.m.
Other first round matchups have Sturgis at Sioux Falls East, Sioux Falls West at Harrisburg Gold, Huron at Brookings, Pierre at Rapid City Post 22, Harrisburg Maroon at Rapid City Post 320, and Brandon Valley at Renner.
