Redfield splits games at Webster tournament

WEBSTER - Redfield split a pair of American Legion baseball games against North Dakota foes during the first day of the Webster Tournament. Redfield blanked Jamestown 13-0 and fell to LaMoure 6-3. Redfield racked up 14 hits and got a one-hitter from Owen Osborn on the way to the win over Jamestown. Redfield scored four times in the first inning as Peyton Osborn drove in one run with a triple, Nolan Gall had an RBI single, and Seth Siebrecht had a two-run single. Redfield added two more runs in the third inning when Eli Morrissette drove in one with a single and Owen Osborn had a run-producing triple, then tacked on three more runs in the fourth as Keaton Rohlfs and Elliott Komraus each drove in runs. The scoring was capped when Redfield plated four more in the fifth as Peyton Osborn had another RBI triple, and Siebrecht had another run-producing single.
