Circus doubles up Redfield Dairy Queen

Aberdeen Circus exploded for 10 runs in the bottom of the third inning to help fuel a 14-7 win over Redfield Dairy Queen in amateur baseball action Friday night at Fossum Field.

Dairy Queen cut the lead in half with five runs in the top of the fourth and eventually clawed back to within four with a pair of runs in the seventh. Circus scored three times in the eighth for the final margin.

Tyler Oliver powered the Circus offense by driving in three runs.

Jacob Beuster struck out six batters in four innings on the mound for Aberdeen, which remained unbeaten on the season at 9-0.

David Mehlhaff powered the Redfield offense with three hits.
