BROOKINGS – Aberdeen Central finished ninth with a team total of 327 during the Eastern South Dakota Conference Golf Tournament on Monday.
The Golden Eagles were led by Ridgly Wasem, who finished 29th with an 80. Brady Heilman also fired an 80 and placed 31st.
Brookings won the team championship with a score of 303, two strokes better than Brandon Valley.
Mitchell’s Asher Dannenbring won the individual title with a 70.
The golfers will now head to Aberdeen for the State AA Tournament Monday and Tuesday at Lee Park Golf Course.
