MITCHELL – The region was different, but the results were the same for Aberdeen Roncalli on Monday.
The Cavaliers, who had won the Region 1A championship for nine of the past 10 years, captured the Region 3A title led by individual champ Harper Schnabel.
Roncalli finished with a team total of 308, two strokes better than runner-up Winner.
“It was really good to see the boys get the job done at regions,” said Roncalli coach Chazz Vigil. “Next step is state and the boys will be ready for the challenge.”
Schnabel fired a 4-under-par 68 to earn medalist honors by three strokes.
