MILBANK – Aberdeen Roncalli won its second golf tournament in four days as the Cavaliers topped the field at the Milbank Invitational on Thursday.
Roncalli topped the field by 14 strokes with a team total of 351.
Sisseton’s Kenzley Heath won the individual title with a 78.
Roncalli’s Grace Seyer was third with an 85, Claire Crawford was fourth with an 85, and Mackenzie Wegehaupt was sixth with an 88.
“Happy with the girls today,” said Roncalli coach Jon Murdy. “They were still knocking off the rust, and having some mental mistakes, but I’m happy with the improvements they have been showing.”
Sisseton’s Elliot Hortness was eighth with an 90, and Groton’s Carlee Johnson was ninth with a 90.
Roncalli heads to the Dakota Valley Invitational on Monday.
