Ipswich athletes win multiple events at Charger Invitational

ONIDA – Ipswich track and field athletes won multiple events during the Charger Invitational on Tuesday.

Kyle Hettich won the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and ran on the winning 400-meter relay squad for the Tigers. In the girls’ division, Tristan Geditz won the shot put and the discus, while Marley Guthmiller topped the field in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, and ran on winning 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter relay teams, and Aubree DeRaad won the 100-meter hurdles, ran on the 1,600-meter relay and also finished second in the 300 hurdles. Shawna Henderson ran on a pair of first-place relay teams.

Miller’s Isaak Hunter won both hurdles races, and Faulkton’s Weston Senn won the discus and the javelin in the boys’ division.
