A group of area coaches has been honored by the South Dakota Track and Field Coaches Association with its Coach of the Year awards.

Among those who were selected include head coaches Alli Jackson of Northwestern, and Brian Tvedt of Deuel, and assistant coaches Katie Anderson of Aberdeen Central, Jackie Braun of Aberdeen Roncalli, and Brian Hogie of Ipswich.

Area 1 Class B

Head Coach: Alli Jackson, Northwestern; Assistant Coach: Brian Hogie, Ipswich.

Area 1 Class A

Head Coach: Brian Tvedt, Deuel; Assistant Coach Jackie Braun: Aberdeen Roncalli.

Area 2 Class B

Head Coach: Andre Lo, De Smet; Assistant Coach: Mike O’Connell, Chester.

Boys’ Head Coach: Jim Jarovski, Sioux Falls Lincoln; Boys’ Assistant Coach: Matt Mueller, Brandon Valley.
