MILBANK – Sam Rick of Milbank won three individual events and ran on a winning relay during the South Dakota National Guard track and field meet on Thursday.
Rick won the 100-meter dash, the triple jump, and the pole vault, and also ran on the winning 800-meter relay team.
Milbank won three relays on the boys’ side and four of the five relays in the girls’ division.
Webster’s Matthew Mount won the boys’ shot put and discus, while Milbank’s Anna Neugebauer won the girls’ shot put and discus. Abigail Lee of Britton-Hecla won the high jump and long jump.
