WARNER – Groton used a 17-6 third-quarter surge to build a double-digit lead on the way to a 54-42 non-conference girls’ basketball win over Warner on Tuesday night.

Taryn Traphagen scored 20 points to lead the Tigers, who improved to 5-2. Rylee Dunker followed with 14, and Jerica Locke finished 11.

Warner received 14 points from Courtney Leidholt, 10 from Kaydee Mackner, and nine from Tatum Hanson.
