Redfield’s Zens has top-10 finish at Region 3A

MITCHELL – Winner edged Parkston by a single stroke to win the team championship at the Region 3A Golf Tournament at Lakeview Golf Course on Monday. Redfield was sixth as a team.

Trysten Eide of Mount Vernon-Plankinton won the individual title in a one-hole playoff with runner-up Landon Weber of Parkston, after both golfers shot identical rounds of 75. Jalen Tideman of Winner was third with a 78.

Redfield’s Cooper Zens finished 10th with an 83. Teammate Micah Zastrow was 16th with an 89. Other Redfield golfers were Grady Hulscher (30th), and Hudson Rische (33rd).
