Central golfers eighth at Huron Invitational

HURON – Aberdeen Central once again featured a balanced attack at the Huron Invitational Golf Tournament on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles finished eighth in team points with a score of 329. O’Gorman won the team championship. OG’s Tate Mauney was the medalist with a round of 71.

Central was led by Cole Brust, who tied for 23rd with a total of 80. Teammate Maddox Dinger was one stroke off the pace and tied for 27th.

Easton Kludt tied for 36th with a total of 83, Jackson Ravellette tied for 44 with an 85, and Kalen Larson tied for 50th with an 87. Grayson Rehder finished 57th with a total of 98.

The Golden Eagles have their only home meet of the season on Tuesday, hosting the Hub City Invitational at Lee Park Golf Course.
