The Northern State men’s basketball team will be the number one seed in the Central Region basketball tournament with runs Saturday through Tuesday at Wachs Arena.
The Wolves (18-1) received a first-round bye and will face the winner between Wayne State and Minnesota State Moorhead at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Northwest Missouri State (23-2) is rated second and received the other first round bye.
Saturday’s opening round matchups have Wayne(11-6) against Moorhead (10-4) and Washburn (19-6) against Missouri Western (14-10).
