SIOUX FALLS – Olivia Braun of Aberdeen finished tied for fourth in the College Women’s division, while Jonathan DeBoer of Twin Brooks tied for 13th in the College Men’s division at the Sanford Futures Championships at Elmwood Golf Course on Wednesday.
Braun, who is headed to compete at South Dakota State, shot a second-round 79 to finish with a 36-hole total of 156, nine strokes behind the champion.
DeBoer, who will be golfing at Northwestern in Orange City, Iowa, this coming season shot a final round of 76 to finished with a 54-hole score of 226, 15 strokes behind the winner.
Peyton Brust of Aberdeen tied for 23rd with a three-round total of 234.
