SIOUX FALLS – Aberdeen’s Claire Crawford is currently in fourth place in the Girls’ Division after the opening day of the Sanford International Series event at Prairie Green Golf Course.
The recent graduate of Roncalli shot a round of 78, four strokes off the pace. Katie Betsworth of Dakota Dunes is in first place, and Ari Jacobs of Sioux Falls is in second, after both shot rounds of 74.
Drew Simon of Crooks leads the Boys Division after a round of 70. Tyson Lunn of Brookings is in second one stroke behind.
Jonathan DeBoer of Twin Brooks is in 10th. DeBoer, who golfed for Milbank, fired a round of 76.
