Wings rally for victory over Shamrocks

WATERTOWN – The Aberdeen Wings capped their regular-season road schedule with a 3-2 win over the Watertown Shamrocks on Friday night.

After falling behind 2-0, the Wings scored three unanswered goals to claim the victory.

Zan Spari-Leben put Aberdeen on the board about midway through the second period before Jonathan Doucette tied the score with just 15 seconds left in the period.

The Wings then received the game-winner from Easton Edwards who found the back of the net with 7:33 remaining in the contest.

Caden Lee had a pair of assists in the victory.

Aberdeen outshot the Shamrocks 47-36. Willum Braun had 34 saves in goal for the Wings.

The same teams wrap up their regular season tonight at the Odde Ice Center. Puck drop is set for 7:15. Both squads will then head into the playoffs next week.
