SIOUX FALLS – Northern State was dominant from the start, commanding an early lead and pulling away from there en route to an 88-47 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women’s basketball victory over Augustana Saturday evening at the Elmen Center.

The Wolves hit six threes in the opening quarter alone and 13 for the game. That long-range effort helped propel the Wolves to a season-high scoring total in what proved to be the team’s fourth conference win of the year.

Izzy Moore finished with 26 points on the strength of a 6-for-9 effort from 3-point range. Lily Klein added a dozen points amidst a scoring effort so balanced that only two players who saw the floor failed to record a point. Eight players finished with six or more points.

Augustana was led by Isabella Sanneh’s 14 points.
