The Northern State women’s basketball team was selected to finish fifth in the North Division and 10th overall in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Coaches’ Preseason Poll. The Wolves received one first place vote in the North.
Minnesota State was the coaches pick to win the NSIC with 8 first-place votes. Concordia-St. Paul and the University of Sioux Falls tied for second overall. Former Hamlin standout Kami Wadsworth was USF’s Player to Watch.
Northern State senior Izzy Moore was chosen was the Wolves’ player to watch.
NSU opens the regular season this weekend with games in Nebraska.
