WESSINGTON SPRINGS – Warner used a 21-14 fourth-quarter surge to pull away from Wessington Springs for a 63-54 non-conference girls’ basketball victory Thursday night. Kyra Marcuson and Ava Nilsson each scored seven points in the final period for the Monarchs, who improved to 18-1 on the season. Marcuson finished with 24 points, Stacia Carda added 14, and Kyleigh Schopp contributed 10. Avery Orth’s 24 points topped Wessington Springs, which slipped to 13-4.
