SUMMIT – Kyra Marcuson finished with a game-high 28 points to help lead Warner past Waubay-Summit 53-40 in non-conference girls’ basketball action Friday night.

The Monarchs, who improved to 12-1 on the season, bolted out to a 16-point first-quarter lead en route to the victory.

Eva Benike had 16 points, followed by Peyton Rumpza with 15 to pace Waubay-Summit. Madison Zirbel added nine.
