Minor changes in final football polls, this week’s volleyball polls

There was limited movement in the final football rankings, and no changes at all in volleyball in this week’s Prep Media polls.

In Class 11AA football, Yankton moved up to second, Watertown inched up to third, and Tea Area fell two spots to fourth. And in Class 11A football, Lennox and West Central flipped spots, with Lennox moving to second and West Central going to third.

There were no changes in the volleyball polls.

Warner remained the top-rated team in Class B with Northwestern receiving votes, and Clark-Willow Lake stayed fourth in Class A with Hamlin receiving votes.

This is the final football week for football polls. The final volleyball polls will come out next week.

The South Dakota Prep Media Football Poll for the week of Oct. 26 is listed below, ranking the top-five teams in each class, record, total points and previous ranking. First-place votes are listed in parentheses. These are the final rankings for Class 11AAA, 11AA and 11A, while the final rankings for Class 11B and the nine-man classes were released last week.
