De SMET – The Deuel boys won the team championship, while Castlewood’s Nolan Edison finished runner-up individually during at the De Smet Invitational cross country meet on Thursday.
Kaden Ober of James Valley Christian won the boys’ race in a time of 17:00.80. Edison was second, and Deuel’s Caden Hourigan was fourth.
Ivy Albrecht of De Smet won the girls’ race. Sierra Keller of Florence-Henry finished fifth. Kimball-White Lake won the girls’ team crown.
