Central kicks off season at Warrior-Lynx Invitational

BRANDON – Aberdeen Central started off its golf campaign at the two-day Warrior-Lynx Invitational on Monday.

Central is 15th in team points with a total of 338 after the opening round in Brandon.

Brandon Valley and Sioux Falls Lincoln tied for the team lead with scores of 297.

The Golden Eagles were led by Ridgley Wasem who shot an 80. Central’s Cole Brust shot an 84, Ben Golz had an 86, Maddox Dinger had an 88, Brody Kludt fired a 91, and Eli Schauer had a 94.

Mitchell’s Asher Dannenbring turned in the low score of 70, one stroke better than Trevor Rick of Sioux Falls Jefferson.

The tournament continues today with action at Willow Run in Sioux Falls.
