PIERRE – Miller golfers swept the individual championships to help lead the Rustlers to a sweep of the team titles as well during the Region 5B tournament on Tuesday.
Derek Brueggeman earned boys’ medalist honors with a 74, three strokes better than Gavin Colson of Sully Buttes. The Rustlers finished with a team total of 251. Gettysburg was second at 254.
Miller’s Jayce Pugh took the girls’ individual crown with a round of 79. Selby Area’s Taryn Hettick was runner-up with an 82. The Rustlers had a team score of 257, 35 strokes better than Selby Area.
