BRITTON – Great Plains Lutheran swept the team titles during the Eastern Coteau Conference track and field meet on Tuesday. Britton-Hecla was runner-up in both divisions.
GPL used its depth to secure the team crowns with no individual winning more than one open event.
Britton-Hecla’s Ben Suther won the 200-meter dash, was second in the 400-meter dash, and ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay team.
Wilmot’s Micah Pelzel won the shot put and discus, and Dawson Hlavacek of Florence-Henry won the long jump and triple jump.
