EUREKA – Mollie Simon of Ipswich and William Blankhartz won medalist honors during the Eureka Invitational golf tournament on Saturday.
Simon fired an 84 to edge Selby Area’s Taryn Hettick by one stroke. Frederick’s Ruby Dallman finished third.
Blankhartz shot a 72 to win the boys’ crown by four strokes. Joshua Fargher of Eureka was runner-up, while Gavin Colson of Sully Buttes was third, and Seth Hettick of Edmunds Central was fourth, all with rounds of 76.
Selby Area won the girls’ team title by 15 strokes, while Edmunds Central took the boys’ team championship by 11 strokes.
