GETTYSBURG – North Central won 10 events in each the boys’ and girls’ divisions on the way to sweeping the team championships at the Yellowstone Trail Conference track and field meet on Thursday.
Jared Wherry won the 110-meter high hurdles, the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, and the pole vault to lead the Thunder on the boys’ side. Donovan Nelson won the high jump and long jump.
Tylee VanderVorst won the 800-meter run and long jump, Lindsey Hoerner won the 100 hurdles and 400-meter dash, and Jillian Fischer won the discus and javelin to power the Thunder in the girls’ division.
