Jorgenson wins Big Ten title in freestyle

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Nebraska’s Genevieve Jorgenson won the 1650 Freestyle at the Big 10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships this past weekend.

The former member of the Aberdeen Swim Club covered the distance in a time 15:45.36.

Jorgenson was third in the 500 Freestyle, sixth in the 400 IM, and her 800 Freestyle relay team finished seventh. Jorgenson broke all of her own school records, and swam on a school-record breaking relays in the 800 Freestyle and 400 Freestyle.
